For the first time, Watertown will participate in the MCC  pilot program, awarding grantees their funding upfront, rather than waiting for reimbursement at the completion of the project. According to the MCC, the goal of allowing councils to give direct grants is twofold, to impose less financial hardship on potential grant recipients and simplify the payment process for municipalities and councils

If you are awarded a grant, you will be required to: submit the Grant Agreement + W9 forms provided. This will confirm your acceptance before you receive full payment; upon completion of your program, submit a final report. Grantees MUST SUBMIT a complete final report including photo documentation of the project and final budget summary with receipts in order to remain in good standing with MCC and the Local Council Program.

Still Have Questions?  Please email us at watertowncultural@gmail.com.                                                                                                 WCC Council members also will be available until October 15th.
