Boston Symphony Orchestra Youth Concert

“Our students were wonderful audience members on our trip to the symphony on March 30th. We listened to the Boston Symphony perform excerpts from Beethoven's Symphony No. 1, Marquez's Danzon No. 2, and a super cool piece featuring a DJ set up called Warehouse Medicine by Mason Bates.
The grant helped to fund 125 of our elementary string players attending the Boston Symphony Youth Concert. Typically, this trip would have cost us about $2500, but this year it was able to be offered at no cost, in part to this grant from the WCC!”
